Carson, Show Prep Editor

Carson, also an air personality for WRQX-FM/Washington, moved to DC seven years ago from Cincinnati where he worked on-air. Before Cincinnati, Carson did morning radio in Minneapolis. He grew up on a farm in Iowa and is still amazed to believe he lives in the nation’s capital. Carson has a passion for cooking and has nearly 100 cooking videos on the web. Besides cooking, he's into home improvement and exercise.

Carson lives in Germantown with his wife, Kelly and his children, Will and Avery and three dogs named Katy, Lucy and Gizmo. He is very active in the community working with the Germantown Volunteer Fire Department and a host of charities and organizations like Children’s National Medical Center, the MS Society, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Carson’s proudest moment on air is the 2010 Children’s National Medical Center Mix for Kids Radiothon which raised nearly $425,000.

Carson joined RADIO ONLINE in 2011 as a comedy writer and show prep editor.
